When there is a brief break in the kiss he leans more weight on Curtain's knee to pull himself forward, until he's fully in Curtain's lap. And he does not immediately resume the kiss either. Instead staring directly into Curtain's eyes eyes, seeming thoughtful and for once not abashed.]

he's happy to have Jae on his lap and is more ready to resume the kiss, hands on his waist, but then, that's not happening...? and he's being stared at, instead?

[returns the kiss, and it is less quick as a result, his arms rest on Curtain's shoulders and he seems, for whatever reason, a lot more relaxed than last time they were in this position. Or even the last time they kissed. He deepens it himself. And there's absolutely some inarticulate feeling there, a warm weight that Jae probably can't explain in any form but at least it seems most accessible in a moment like this.

There's also a faint whispering of a story.]

[it's funny how what should be very unsettling under normal circumstances, now feels familiar and... in a way, intimate, but maybe that's just further proof of how he really is comfortable with Jae's condition as a Constellation, now. of course, the stories are part of this too, so there's nothing strange about that whispering.

and while he's not quite sure what brought this about, he also can't be bothered to try and make sense of it. instead, he also relaxes and focuses all of his attention on Jae, on the kiss, and all the things that are wordlessly being conveyed, letting this moment stretch for as long as Jae wants it to.]

[It's really just a few breathes, a few long breathes maybe. When he pulls back enough to lick his own lips there is finally a flush there, though whether or not it's from embarrassment is hard to say.

He sits up a bit more, opens his mouth once or twice apparently intending to say something, and eventually does get it out. Despite his apparent slight fluster he is once again looking straight at Curtain]
