Is this a pop quiz, now? I know how it worked back at the palace. There's no coins here, so I assume that doesn't apply? But... I would get to borrow your stigma, yes?
It's not really something so cheap. First of all, my stigma aren't that useful most of the time. Well, there is one I would like you to have for emergencies. But it's more... Personal? Than that. It irrevocably ties me to your story. It means I can always find you. If you're in duress I'll know. If necessary I could incarnate directly into your body... I wouldn't do that unless needed though, it can be quite painful. Um and yes, of course, I could lend you my power more easily...
[There's a feeling of warmth glowing up from within Curtain's chest, but that diminishes quickly, leaving behind a different sensation. A knowledge, in a way. there is a simple knowing about the man in front of him.
For example, that Jae is buzzing with a nervous, disbelieving excitement, Curtain would be able to tell this if there was a bag over his head. He would also unerringly be able to point in this person's direction even if they were a thousand miles apart.
He can also tell that Jae's soul is slightly ragged the edges, from hitting taboos? But it isn't to a large degree.
And perhaps more important there is the simple sensation of being watched. Not in an oppressive way. This is perhaps the ancient sensation of having a guiding star. Whatever the road ahead is, it will not be taken alone.]
he doesn't say anything right away. watching Jar, but also letting his gaze become unfocused as he directs his attention to all these sensations. it's both familiar and yet... entirely not, or at least not in the way he remembered or expected it to.
but more than confused or alarmed, he is fascinated? and slightly pleased, even a little amused. that might show on his face a bit, it would be difficult to hide anyway.
finally, he opens his mouth to try and say something, though he also has no idea what to say, so the only thing that comes out is a quiet:]
... Ah.
[he chuckles, finally starting to feel some of that nervousness himself]
[There is a sense of vibration from Jae's feelings, the excitement and nervousness and pleasure, but he actually sits quite calmly, absorbing having these sensations again.
After a moment he takes a breath, lifts a finger to trace it down the side of Curtain's cheek]
...there. Now. If anything happens, it'll be easier to find you.
I'm not particularly worried about this place. You should be able to handle yourself fine. I mean if one of us is removed from this place, or something similar.

Yes... it's probably good that I asked. Ah.

Re: [Evening, Day 5]
... None of this sounds like things we haven't done before.

Then... You're sure.
Re: [Evening, Day 5]
... In that case.
[Do you accept?]
Re: [Evening, Day 5]
... I'm sure.
[there is presumably a "YES" button somewhere in this dialogue box, so he taps that without further consideration.
and then, just for good measure:]
I accept.

Re: [Evening, Day 5]
Is that why you wanted this? I haven't even been that bad.
[getiny aside.....]

But What if you just aren't here one day? What if it's like the other place, and they aren't being eaten, just snapped back to their own world?

Re: [Evening, Day 5]
Re: [Evening, Day 5]
Is this going to make taboos and objectives weird?
Re: [Evening, Day 5]
...the benefits or damages shouldn't transfer. But I we'll be able to tell if one is triggered?
The, uh... feelings... part. Also shouldn't be as strong if we aren't so... close.
Re: [Evening, Day 5]
So no need to keep count anymore? That's convenient.
