It's his life, I am not going to meddle one way or another. It's a privilege I never held and then repeatedly lost any potential right to over and over.

I'm aware, but what good would something like that do? I'm already dead in his world. Why would I choose to burden him with even more regrets? The last thing he needs is more curses in his life.

Think about it. I'm trying to push him to open up for his benefit. To consider what it means to live beyond the title of his birth.

At the very least impart to him his value as a person that does not pertain to his status as the strongest sorcerer. I imagine it is more than just his vaulted strength that you care for.

To not let pride, duty or even fear prevent you from saying what you desire to those you love. Time is fleeting even for nigh immortals. The chance will not always be there.
