I'm not a threat. What I'd like most in the world is for Jae to be happy, and have everything he wants. I'd like to be able to kiss him and sit on his lap while I'm doing it, but for certain personal reasons, I can't go past doing things like that, anyway, so I'm not looking for more than that. Not that I'm here to bargain with you—if you're not comfortable with that much, then I'll be content with holding his hands and giving him hugs.

—oh! I should explain that. In my culture, we communicate through song and touch, so people are much more open to skinship, like this.

Jae's really important to me, so I don't want to give up that bare minimum. Besides that, though, I want him to be happy, and. . . well, I don't think he's very good at talking to the people who are romantically interested in him, so I figured I should talk to you myself about this!

People in Aegir are much more expressive and honest with each other, especially when it comes to these matters, and I hate—what's it called, beating around the bush? So, here I am.

And like I said, I'm not here to bargain or persuade you. He cares about you, and I care about him, so I want to get to know you, and I want you to get to know me. Protecting Finch is already something I've sworn to do, but I think you deserve more than the bare minimum.
