Sorry to hear that. I wonder if digging could be useful for finding more water sources.
And it is a little like that, but also not like that at all. Cursed energy is born from human negative emotions, but only sorcerers have the ability to control it at will.

Then let's say something like—avarice and gluttony is the noose around its neck, its one eye and mouth solely for enjoying the sights and tastes of its prey.
Like I said, they are born from people's negative emotions. Their fears, hatred, sadness and resentment, to mention a few. So while their shapes are often related to that, there's always curses that aren't as straightforward as you'd expect.
This was someone else's feeling at some point, right? Or maybe lots of people's feelings. It's a creation born from emotions—even if they're negative emotions, they're still feelings to be treasured. They're still beautiful, in their own grotesque way.
[ with a sort of affectionate pat to the one-eyed curse ]
Besides that—I don't know how these energies work, but it's worse if they're not talked about or acknowledged, right? The feelings of fear, hatred, sadness, resentment—loneliness compounds them all, and they grow wild when they're suffocated.
I'm sure an interpretation does nothing for it, long after it's already lost its ability to express its pain, but it's still nice to be acknowledged, isn't it?
