Yes, I don't think I've heard of any such cases so far.

My first vision was closer to the expected model. It featured my counterpart being stabbed in the abdomen.

I can't say I approve of it.

... I wouldn't. At least not purposefully or without good reason.

And what would you classify as a good reason?

... I think it's highly dependent on the situation.

But from a general perspective... perhaps something done for somebody else's own good.

[ sips her juice. ]

She was stationed as a line of defense while her companions performed some kind of heist offscreen. Context leads me to believe that she could have held the fort reliably, and with ease.

The antagonists of the story certainly seemed to believe so. Though they clearly came to attack—as soon as they caught sight of her, they hesitated. Their leader was certainly more shocked than she was, when she...

[ hm. picks up a napkin. folds it in the shape of a knife. ]

—Hand, please.

[nodding as he listens, paying close attention.

then offers his hand, palm facing upwards]

[ places the paper knife in his hand. takes his hand within both of hers, guiding his arm toward her. stops it just short of her torso, holding the arm in place. ]

She could have blocked any attack of his with her bare hands, without breaking a sweat. She did. Do you want to know what she said to him, while on the verge of breaking his wrist?

[well, this is a little morbid, but he doesn't seem terribly put off by the reenactment. letting her guide his hand without resistance]

... I do, assuming you're comfortable with it.

"You fool. It's about time you got to meet a real monster."

[ gently, she pulls his hand toward her abdomen, letting the "knife"—and his knuckles—brush against her shirt. ]

[ letting go, ]

The scene ended there. I assume she was fine afterward, but who knows?

[his hand lingers there for an instant before withdrawing it, leaving the napkin knife on the bar]

So she wanted to make it seem like she had been attacked, when it reality it was her own choice?

That was the impression given, yes.

And how do you feel about it?

[ head tilting slightly ]

I didn't dislike the experience.

I've never had reason to betray anyone.
