Yes, and yes. As you want to keep up the charade for your parents, if you do wish to have children-- I have no concerns about it, myself, and am in a good place to offer. We are both financially secure, with alternating schedules, and have a healthy relationship even if we are divorced.

So I am offering. Aside from simply getting your parents off of your back, it gives us something we both want. Assuming you do, in fact, want it.

Fertility issues are fairly common between couples, especially those in high-stress job environments-- like yourself. I don't mind it by way of explanation.

Well, I do. Also that sort of thing might just lead to them blaming it on me also and demanding I change jobs for the sake of our family.

We are not planning a family, we can't be a family if we aren't together anymore.

I don't see why I can't give you a child in this situation. I could move back, temporarily, and our sensibilities are fairly similar. I don't think co-parenting would be an issue.
